Redesigned ISO/TC 211 HMRA site launches with modern experience
May 03, 2026
The ISO/TC 211 Harmonized Resources Maintenance Agency (HRMA) is pleased to announce the launch of a redesigned www.isotc211.org resource site.
The redesign delivers a modern, mobile-first experience for accessing ISO/TC 211 harmonized resources — including UML models, XML schemas, ontologies, registries, and terminology — with improved navigation, responsive layouts, and dark mode support.
Incremental rollout
This is the first step in an incremental rollout across all ISO/TC 211 resource sites. The next site to be updated will be the schemas.isotc211.org XML schema repository, followed by other HRMA-managed properties in due course.
By rolling out changes incrementally, we can gather feedback from the community and ensure each site meets the needs of its users before moving on to the next.
What’s new
-
Modern design — clean layout with clear visual hierarchy and improved readability across all screen sizes.
-
Responsive — fully mobile-first, adapting gracefully from phones to wide desktops.
-
Dark mode — automatic detection of system preference with manual toggle, persisted across sessions.
-
Improved resource access — resources are presented in a card-based grid with direct links to each service.
-
Open source — the site is developed in the open on GitHub, and contributions are welcome.
About the HRMA
The HRMA was established under ISO/TC 211 CIB Resolution 2021-16 and is operated by the Swedish Institute of Standards (SIS), with hosting and platform support provided by Ribose. It governs all ISO/TC 211 harmonized resources published at isotc211.org.
We welcome feedback on the new site. Please open an issue on the site repository or reach out through the usual ISO/TC 211 channels.
