Standards Awards 2011

Standards Australia has given the Meritorious Contribution Awards (International) to Mr. Chris Body.
The Standards Awards are presented to individuals, who have made significant contributions to standardisation and who have demonstrated outstanding service in enabling Standards Australia to attain the objectives for which it was founded – to enrich the quality of life of all Australians.
Award recipients were selected on criteria including:

1. input and participation in committee meetings and deliberations;
2. contribution to problem solving and conflict resolution;
3. involvement in national and international Standards work;
4. research work; and
5. advocacy of Standards and standardisation.

The recipients for the International Meritorious Contribution Awards is chosen by a selection group made up of Senior Project Managers.
